Dr Sarah Swan

MANAGING PARTNER

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience in the NHS. I have extensive experience in mental health, substance misuse and personality disorders. Alongside clinical work, I have developed and delivered a wide range of multi-disciplinary staff training, thereby improving psychological mindedness and skills within organisations. I have significant experience of setting up new services, often developed in partnership with social care and third sector organisations. I have successfully delivered service transformation programmes that have significantly impacted on outcomes for services users, wellbeing and functioning of staff and efficiencies for the organisation.

I am passionate about raising awareness of mental health and in creating a climate in which people can talk about mental health issues and be supported effectively. Having worked for many years in the NHS with people with severe and enduring mental health problems, I am keen to support early intervention initiatives that enable people to identify and manage their own mental health needs.

I am an empathic and approachable individual who strives to develop good working relationships with all. This personal style, along with my skills and experience, enable me to quickly connect with and understand people and the contexts in which they live and work. I work to high personal standards and do not rest until I feel a job has been well done!
